Belgium bounce back from Euro 2024 defeat with comfortable win over Romania

Belgium got their Euro 2024 campaign back on track with a comfortable 3-0 win over Romania on Saturday. The Red Devils were beaten by Slovakia in their opening game of the tournament, but they responded with a much-improved performance against Romania.

Michy Batshuayi opened the scoring for Belgium in the 17th minute, and Leandro Trossard made it 2-0 just before half-time. Romelu Lukaku added a third goal in the second half to seal the win.

The win moves Belgium up to second place in Group B, level on points with leaders Russia. Romania, meanwhile, remain bottom of the group with no points from their two games.
